We run the phone system we sell.
DyCom VoIP is the voice arm of the DyCom Group — we design, build, host and support business phone systems on 3CX, and we run 3CX in our own business first.
Most phone providers resell a platform they've never opened up — so when something misbehaves, they're learning on your system. We went the other way. 3CX is our own phone system: the calls, the queues, the website chat, the SMS, the mobile apps and the after-hours AI all run our business before we put them near yours.
The AI in 3CX is the platform's own — call handling, transcription — and we configure it to how you answer the phone. What we built ourselves is the tooling around it: an MCP server we run on our own 3CX that lets an AI assistant read call stats, manage queues and re-point routing through the API, behind an audit trail. It's the kind of thing you only build when you actually live in the system.
Part of the DyCom Group
DyCom VoIP sits alongside the rest of the DyCom Group, so the phones don't have to live on their own island:
- DyCom VoIP — business phone systems on 3CX: voice, video, live chat, SMS and AI call handling.
- DyCom Mobile — business mobile on the same account as your phones: pooled data, eSIM, porting and travel packs.
- DyCom Group Queensland — managed IT, Microsoft 365, cyber security and networks across South East Queensland.
- DyCom Automation — building and business-process automation, from access control to joining systems that don't talk.
What we stand for
Phones that work like the rest of your software. A cutover scheduled out of hours so you don't lose a trading day. Support from people who answer well past five and already know your setup. And your numbers are yours — if you ever leave, they come with you.
Where we work
From our South East Queensland base — Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Logan, Redlands, Australia-wide — and delivered to businesses right across Australia. The phone system is software; the support is what has to be local when it counts.
